Ritter International and the client collaborate to define the position & candidate profile based upon the company's business plan and financial position, current operational and competitive challenges, intended strategies and vision, the culture, and the demands of the respective position.

Search strategy development

Ritter International commits the first week of the process developing a roadmap to execute the search.

Research roadmap

Target companies are listed. Potential candidates identified in previous and similar searches are listed. Relevant and informative industry contacts and resources (industry, military, consultants, and government) are identified for discreet networking, referral and reference purposes. These assets, used in conjunction with world-class research techniques, facilitate the accurate identification of potential candidates. Few search firms, if any, have the access or ability to combine these vast and valuable resources to conduct your search.

Recruiting objectives

Candidate identification, approach and assessment calls are concurrent processes until project completion. We strive to have four to five candidates by week five.

Assessment solutions

Experience breeds intuition, understanding, high-value solutions and an ability to guide the client to a successful leadership hire. Recognizing what traits, skill sets, competencies and style are required to perform, effectively lead, and fit within the fabric of the client's culture and leadership team is imperative. Ritter International has the depth of experience to accurately assess leaders who meet and eclipse the requirement.

Interview process

Upon request, we counsel with the client to structure the interview strategy and process to ensure an informative client/candidate exchange of relevant information, perspectives and ideas. This pivotal element of the entire search process identifies and defines the discriminators between the final candidate pool and leads to a quality decision by the client as to which candidate to select and present the employment offer.

Employment offer

Assist client with designing and presenting the compensation package to the successful candidate. Conduct subsequent negotiations as required.

Assimilation

To protect the client's investment, we remain in close contact with the successful candidate, and family, for the first year of employment to ensure a successful assimilation into the company and community. We report to the client as required throughout this process.
